Upcoming Bollywood Movies in 2024

A while back, Bollywood was going through a difficult period. Movies were getting repetitive and people had lost interest. But things have changed now! Bollywood listened to the audience. List of Upcoming Bollywood Movies 

1.Kalki 2898 AD:

 The film Kalki 2898 AD was earlier scheduled to hit the theaters in May 2024, but the release of the same got postponed due to the 2024 Indian general election. This film is to hit all the theaters worldwide on 27 June 2024. 

The highly anticipated Indian epic, dystopian science fiction action film Kalki 2898 AD was written and directed by Nag Ashwin. This movie is another blockbuster production by Vyjayanthi Movies, and will be directed by the veteran C. Aswani Dutt. It is majorly shot in Telugu but comes across, in some parts, with perfect redecoration in Hindi. The story takes inspiration from the Hindu scriptures. Marking the beginning of the grand Kalki Cinematic Universe.

This film has the Prabhas in the title role and also has legendary Amitabh Bachchan, versatile Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, and Brahmanandam in important roles.

2.Sarfira:

Sarfira is a highly awaited Hindi drama movie by Sudha Kongara. A collaborative effort between Abundantia Entertainment from the banners of the powerhouse Aruna Bhatia and Vikram Malhotra, the innovative 2D Entertainment of Jyothika and Suriya, and the well-known Cape Of Good Films of Akshay Kumar. Starring Radhika Madan, Seema Biswas, Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar, and Suriya in a cameo.

This compelling drama is a brilliant remake of Sudha’s acclaimed Tamil film, ‘Soorarai Pottru’ (2020), which itself is a cinematic adaptation of G.R. Gopinath’s inspiring memoir, ‘Simply Fly: A Deccan Odyssey.’

The story of a man who is embarking on a mission that was a social cause—to create airlines that were affordable by the economically challenged, and all along facing many enemies who wanted to destroy his visionary enterprise.

3.Bad Newz:

Makers of the much-anticipated film ‘Bad Newz’, starring Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri, have finally announced the official release date. The film, which is highly anticipated, is finally slated to be released on the 19th of July.

Adding to it Ammy Virk has a central role to play, while the directorial baton is once again with the accomplished Anand Tiwari. Incidentally, this is the second project of Kaushal and Tiwari together. Backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions along with Leo Media Collective. ‘Bad Newz’ is sure to be a celluloid delight. The laugh riot is inspired by true events and is a sort of spiritual successor to the runaway hit ‘Good Newz’ from 2019.

4.Singham Again:

Singham Again (also commonly referred as Singham 3) is an Indian Hindi-language action movie, most carefully handled by the renowned  Director Rohit Shetty. Under his own production company, Rohit Shetty Pictures, he co-produced this movie with Jio Studios, Devgn Films, and Reliance Entertainment. Featuring in this movie are Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan , Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Deepika Padukone, and  Jackie Shroff. The film will be part five of Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe and a sequel to Singham Returns, again promising to deliver a cinematic experience of high-octane action and riveting drama. Scheduled to explode in cinemas on 15th August 2024.

5.Vedaa:

The recognised Nikkhil Advani is the brilliant director of the upcoming Indian Hindi-language action drama film Vedaa. Which is produced by Zed Studios, Emmay Entertainment, and JA Entertainment.

The film features an incredible cast, including well-known actor John Abraham, Sharvari, the stunning Tamannaah Bhatia, and the adaptable Abhishek Banerjee. The film is currently scheduled for release on August 15, 2024, and is based on some exciting true events.

Vedaa is the story of a single person’s bravery in challenging the draconian system by raising an uprising against it. This is a fight for justice by a young woman steered by a man who stands as an ally.

6.Stree 2: 

Stree 2  is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language horror-comedy directed by the talented Amar Kaushik and produced by the visionary duo of Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande under the prestigious banner of Maddock Films and Jio Studios.

It is the film in the Maddock Supernatural Universe started in 2018 and a follow-up to the film Stree released in 2018. The lead cast of stree 2  includes Rajkummar Rao , Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee ,Shraddha Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana Abhishek Banerjee. Horror comedy Stree 2, set to release in theaters on 30 August 2024. 

7.Sky Force: 

Sky Force is an upcoming Hindi action film, which will be directed by the duo Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur and, will be produced by producer Maddock Films and Jio Studios.

The movie presents a tale of India’s retaliation striking the Sargodha air base in the most vivid way during the Indo-Pak air war of 1965.

  The cast of this film includes Bollywood Stars like Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Sara Ali Khan, Sara Ali Khan, Sharad Kelkar. This historical narrative is branded as India’s first and most desolate airstrike.

The movie was announced officially in October 2023. The shooting began in May 2023. This movie has been shot in various places in India, the USA, and the United Kingdom. Sky Force will come in theaters on 2 October 2024.

8.Deva:

Directed by Rosshan Andrews and written by the renowned team of Bobby-Sanjay, Deva is a much awaited action-thriller movie in the Hindi language. The film is produced by the renowned Roy Kapur Films with Zee Studios. Pooja Hegde and Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor are the film’s stars. The official announcement of the film was made in May 2023, The music of this movie is by Sachet–Parampara.

The story is about a policeman who after taking up a high-profile case, opens up a can of worms and betrayal.

which finally lands him on a dangerous path. The movie will hit cinema halls on 11th October 2024, coinciding with the Dussehra festival.

9.Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3:

The movie Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is a horror-comedy drama directed and written skillfully by Anees Bazmee. Kartik Aaryan himself will once again be in lead this next amazing series, starring opposite the stunning Tripti Dimri and the Vidya Balan. For further excitement, wait for more supporting actors yet to be on board. Bhushan Kumar’S T-Series Films is producing this moive. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3  is set to haunt and entertain audiences and will release in  theaters on October 31, 2024.

10.Raid 2:

 Actor Ajay Devgn is all set to officially return in the much awaited sequel to his hit film Raid released in 2018. The filmmakers have announced the project titled ‘Raid 2,’ with Raj Kumar Gupta directing it. 

The sequel, which is already in production, is produced by Bhushan Kumar. Krishan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak under the production house T- series and Panorama studios. Along with Bollywood star Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh and Vanni Kapoor is casted in the film.
