Latest In Bollywood: Official Announcement Of Sunny Deol’s Border 2

Sunny Deol’s movie Border completed 27 years on June 13,2024. Border was released on June 13,1997. On the occasion of the border movie completing 27 years, Sunny Deol and makers of the film announced that they are coming with a sequel of the film and named it as ‘Border 2’. After 27 years, Sunny Deol will again appear as an Indian army officer. T-series and JP Films are the producers of this film.

Announcement made by Sunny Deol About ‘Border 2’

Sunny Deol and the makers of the film made a collaborative post on their social media handle to officially announce Border 2. They dropped a video with a voiceover in Sunny Deol’s voice. In the posted video Sunny Deol can be heard saying,“27 saal pehle ek fauji ne wada kiya tha ke woh wapas aayega, usi wade ko pura karne, Hindustan ki mitti ko apna salaam kehne aa raha hai fir se.” India’s Biggest War Film” was another description of Border 2 in the announcement trailer.

Makers kept the information about the film a secret, there were little bit of buzz in the media that the makers of the Border Film are coming up with a sequel but it remained a mysterious rumor until official announcement.   

Reaction of Fans and Bollywood Star on The announcement of Border 2

Some bollywood stars have reacted to the announcement of Border 2. One of them is Animal film fame Bobby Deol who is also the brother of Sunny Deol, he showed his excitement by commenting fire emojis on the post made by Sunny Deol, it stated that Bobby Deol is also excited for the announced film. Actors like Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff and more also showed their excitement for Border 2, they both were also casted for the border film released in 1997.  

Many fans also showed their excitement about the film, some fans commented on the announcement post that they were waiting for this sequel since the release of the Border movie. Some of the fans also commented that they are excited to see Sunny Deol again in the role of an army officer.
