Recently in a meeting, the actor shared his views on the nepotism debate that has been raging on for some time in Bollywood. Vivek said that he never lets the subject get to him since he never utilized his dad, Suresh Oberoi, to ahead in Bollywood. He added that in spite of getting an opportunity to have a major platform, he liked to struggle and fashion his own profession way. Calling himself independent, Vivek uncovered that he began working when he was only 15 to bring in pocket money. He said that directly from cleaning the set floors, to helping choreographer Farah Khan and proceeding as a back-up dancer, he had done everything and was happy that he did it since it encouraged him a lot.
