In January 2019, a video went viral in which 50-60 students were harassing a native American activist, Nathan Phillips. The students were from Covington Catholic High School in which the main focus was on Nick Sandmann.
In the video, Nick Sandmann came forward and stood inches away from Phillips while the other students did Tomahawk Chops and danced. The students also wore red caps which says, Make America Great Again.
The school’s director released a statement after the incident in which she regretted about what happened. Later, Nick confronted in a statement that the students were confronted by 4 members of the Black Hebrew Israelite Movement.
