He played the role of a child Sean Brody along with Roy Scheider, Lorraine Gary, and April (his sister) in Jaws 2 in 1978. He played Willie in Where’s Willie? in 1978, and Dale in Earthbound in 1981. He played his role in The Legend of the Lone Ranger in 1981. Marc Gilpin took retirement from his acting in 1989.

Marc Gilpin Brain Cancer: Marc passed away on 29 July 2023 at the age of 56 in Dallas, Texas, United States. He was battling with glioblastoma which is a form of brain cancer. Peri who is known for playing Frasier’s producer Roz Doyle on the sitcom paid tribute to Marc and his wife Kaki Gilpin in an emotional Instagram post. She wrote,
“Kaki and Marc took care of each other with kindness, strength, dignity, and invaluable humor.”
“When Marc became ill, Kaki and their boys surrounded Marc with love, hugs, and round the clock support and care. I just want to say how much I admire Kaki as a wife, mom, first grade teacher, sister and sister-in-law and undaunted caregiver.”
“You are an amazing person Kaki and [it’s] so easy to see how much he has always loved you and always will.”

Marc Gilpin’s sister April passed away in July 2017 when she was 48 years old. His other sister Patti passed away at the age of 57 in 2020.
Marc Gilpin was married to Kaki Gilpin with whom he had two sons named Spencer and Presley. Spencer is 18 years old whereas Presley is 16 years old.
