On Monday, Lawrence “Larry” Rudolph was convicted guilty of murder and mail fraud. Rudolph was accused of fatally shooting his wife in the heart with a shotgun at the conclusion of an African safari.
In connection with the 2016 death of Larry Rudolph’s wife Bianca Rudolph in Zambia, Larry was charged with international murder as well as mail fraud for reportedly cashing in $4.8 million in life insurance claims in what the prosecution alleges was a premeditated crime.
He was tried in federal court in Denver because some of the money was paid from outside Colorado. When he is sentenced in February, he could receive the death penalty or a maximum sentence of life in prison.
