Khudiram Bose was an Indian revolutionary who attempted to assassinate a British judge (Magistrate Douglas Kingsford) along with Prafulla Chaki by throwing bombs on the carriage.
British suspected the man who did it. Judge was seated in a different carriage and but the bombs caused the death of two British women. Khudiram’s partner Prafulla shot himself before the arrest but Khudiram was arrested by the British police and trialed for the murder of the two women.
Khudiram was sentenced to death and executed on 11 August 1908. When he was executed by hanging in Muzaffarpur, Bengal Presidency, British India (present-day Bihar, India), he was 18 years old and the second youngest revolutionary in India.
