Sam Larry’s real name is Balogun Eletu who was arrested by the Lagos State Police Command on 28 September 2023 for an investigation into the matter of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba (Mohabad)’s death.

The Lagos State Police Command arrested Lagos socialite Sam Larry over an ongoing investigation into the matter of Mohabd’s death. Spokesman of the command Benjamin Hundeyin said,
“Balogun Olamilekan Eletu aka Sam Larry is now in our custody. He is currently assisting with the ongoing investigation.”
When Sam Larry arrived from Kenya at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport on Thursday evening, he was arrested at the airport and was taken to the State Police headquarters for questioning.

Sam Larry’s arrest came after a video of Sam and some of his friends harassing the singer went viral on social media.

However, Sam Larry explained the reason for the harassment that Mohbad owed him N2 million. Mohbad was a Nigerian musician who passed away at the age of 27 on 12 Septemebr 2023 and it is alleged that he died due to an ear infection.
