    DySP Humayun Bhat Wife – Humayun Bhat was a Deputy Superintendent of the Jammu and Kashmir Police who recently got married. He was killed in a gunfight with terrorists in Anantnag on 13 September 2023. The attack was done by the banned Resistance Front.

    DSP Humayun Bhat was a married man. He got married last year but his wife’s name is not known. Mrs. DSP Humayun Bhat’s wife gave birth a a baby who is 29 days  old only. 

    DySP Humayun Bhat Was Killed in Action in Kashmir Gunfight

    DySP Humayun Bhat was a sub-divisional police officer (SDPO) in the Kokarnag area of the Anantnag district.

    The operation against terrorists in the Garol area was started on 12 September 2023 in the evening and it was stopped at night as they got the news of the sight of terrorists at a hideout, the search for terrorists was started again in the morning of 13 September 2023.

    Colonel Manpreet Singh, Major Ashish Dhonack, and DSP Humayun Bhat were injured in the gunfight with terrorists. DGP Dilbagh Singh expressed grief over the martyrdom of Humayun and the loss of life of other soldiers. DGP said,

    “I am deeply saddened by the demise of Colonel Manpreet Singh, Major Ashish Dhonak, and DSP Humayun Bhatt, son of retired Jammu and Kashmir Police IG Ghulam Hasan Bhatt.”

    DSP Humayun Bhat’s wife was shocked after hearing the news of her husband’s death and she is suffering from her life’s toughest phase. This time is so tough for her to suffer this moment. For a lady, it is very shocking news to lose her husband.

    DSP Humayun Bhat’s mortal remains arrived at his village in Budgam. He was the son of retired Inspector General of Jammu and Kashmir Police Ghulam Hasan Bhat. A video showed his father laying a floral wreath on the mortal remains of his son.
