David McCullough was an American author along with being a narrator, lecturer, and popular historian. He was known for his books titled The Path Between the Seas (19877), Truman (1992), and John Adams (2001).
He won the presidential medal of Freedom in 2006, the Pulitzer Prize in 1993 and 2002, and the National Book Award in 1982.
He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, U.S. ON 7 July 1933. His full name was David Gaub McCullough. He graudated from Yale Univeristy. He died on 7 August 2002.
