Callum M. Brown is an athlete and plays an Australian rules footballer. He plays for the Greater Western Sydney Giants in the Australian Football League (AFL).
Callum Brown was born on July 15, 2000. His birthplace is Luton, England, U.K. He is 23 years old as of 2023.
He first joined the Derry GAA underage representative team at the age of 14 reached an All-Ireland minor final with Derry in 2017 and played for Derry’s under 20 team in 2018.
Callum was recognized as an AFL prospect at the age of 14 when he was coached by former Northern Ireland AFL recruit Chrissie McKeague.
In 2018 Nick Walsh, Jason McCartney, and Heath Shaw traveled to Ireland to entice 18-year-old Brown to move to Australia to play for the Giants in the AFL and sign him as an international rookie through the 2018 AFL Draft.
He spent most of the 2022 season as a medical substitute. With limited opportunities for game time, Brown began talking about returning to Ireland.
In the Round 16 home game against Hawthorn, Brown kicked a career record 4 goals while replacing the injured Lachlan Keefe, being named best in the field. He was offered a one-year contract extension in August 2022.
